Librarian by day, single female homeowner by night and weekend. Addicted to scarves, fondness for tote bags. 2 cats, but not a crazy cat lady. That's what I keep telling myself, at least.

I've taken on some huge projects at my house and attack each one with relish and abandon. Just not expertise. Some things work...some things don't. But in the last few years I've gotten quite good at not sweating the small stuff. I do sweat the big stuff.

Working for a living, but loving what I'm doing. Really, my job is awesome. You should be jealous you don't have it. When I'm not at the job that pays me, I'm working hard at my house. Winter gives me a bit of a respite from work. I've just started embroidery, which is a perfect winter hobby.

I'm really good at coming up with projects to do. Researching random things. Finding myself hilarious. Making babies smile. Making a fool of myself in front of small children.
